Kids Fishing Event

The Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center hosts two Fishing Events per year. The Events are held at the Hayes-Outz Wildlife Education Center on the catfish pond, located on the camp road. The purpose of the event is provide an opportunity for parents to spend time with their children in the outdoors enjoying the sport of fishing. Door prizes are given, and there are awards for winners. Kids up to age 15 can compete, but anyone can fish. (The idea is to have the kids fishing!)

This fishing event is for catfish and is catch-and-release.

There are also opportunities for Door Prize Donations and Volunteers.
